Program Description:
Stockholm
 
The Faculty of Law at Stockholm University is the biggest Law Faculty in Sweden, both in number of researchers and in number of students. The Faculty of Law was founded in 1907 at what was then called Stockholm University College The law programme at Stockholm University has been the first-cycle programme with the largest number of applicants in Sweden since the autumn of 2008.

The law programme of four-and-a-half years leading to the Swedish Master of Laws Degree LL.M. is the standard law programme in Sweden. The Law Programme is entirely taught in Swedish. The degree is required for professions such as that of a judge, attorney at law and prosecutor. The law programme at Stockholm University is a comprehensive law course. The Faculty is the only one in the country that has the professorships in Law and Information Technology and in European Integration Law – and both subjects are compulsory.

Courses:
 

Students will receive up to 12 credits towards their law degree. Only the credits and not the grades will transfer per ABA requirements. The acceptance of any credit or grade for any courses taken at the University of Stockholm, including externships and other clinical offerings, is subject to determination by the WCL, Office of the Registrar.

WCL students will be enrolled in regularly scheduled courses conducted in English alongside fellow Stockholm and exchange program students.The following is a selection of courses offered in English.
