The Universidad Sergio Arboleda School of Law was founded in 1984 by Rodrigo Noguera Calerón and Alvaro Gomez Hurtado, two well known Columbian philosophers. In addition to detailed instruction in all disciplines of law, the school provides training in the philosophical and linguistic elements of the law. The school seeks to train lawyers to hold a high standard of ethics in all applications of the law. As a result, the school has a strong philosophical and humanistic character.
