Oceania is an extensive area that includes vast expanses of water and numerous islands and nations. The region was isolated for a period of its history which allowed the region to develop and rich and unique culture. With advances in maritime travel, Oceania gained and continues to gain prominence with the rise of globalization. Due to its unique geographic arrangement, Oceania allows students to take courses on a wide range of fields such as international trade law, maritime law, indigenous rights, environmental law, and human rights law. These courses allow the students to not only apply their skills in this region of the world, but wherever their career as an international lawyer takes them.
