ARBITRATION

With the cost and length of litigation increasing, parties and companies have begun turning to arbitration as an alternative form of dispute resolution. Arbitration clauses can be found in all types of contracts and is an effective method of adjudicating a wide gamut of issues that arise between parties. With globalization, the growth of international arbitration services, and issues of jurisdiction, it is important to understand the impact and role arbitration has on the legal field.

AUWCL provides several study abroad programs that allow students to focus on and learn the ins-and-outs of international arbitration. Students have the opportunity to observe, experience, and learn from practitioners and experts in the field of arbitration and understand how different cultures and legal systems approach arbitration.
