Specific Scholarships of Interest to AUWCL Study Abroad Participants

Boren Fellowship: provides up to $30,000 to U.S. graduate students to add an important international and language component to their graduate education.

Fullbright: Many scholarships with various requirements. For the 2013-14 application cycle, law students are especially encouraged to apply for Fulbright grants in Bolivia, Canada, Chad, Croatia, Guatemala, Japan, Macedonia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Senegal, UK, and Venezuela.


Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships: provides a flat grant of $25,000 for one academic year of study in another country.

Global Studies Foundation: provides supplemental funds for American students studying abroad.

Student Mobility Program (Canada): travel grants for students participating in study abroad programs in Canada

Turkish Coalition of America: provides scholarships for summer or semester study in Turkey.

Tinker Field Research Grants: covers travel expenses for two week to four month periods of investigation in Latin America.
